WOODSTOCK WALKING TOUR
We will start and end our walking tour at the famous Old Biscuit Mill. Formerly a biscuit mill in the 1900’s and now home to a range of workshops, designer stores and decadent restaurants. Every Saturday morning a firm local favourite, The Neighbourgood’s Market is hosted here. Baz Art is a NPO whose vision is to showcase the power of street art and its ability to transform communities. Sipho, one of the local street art guides, will take us on an in-depth journey of the powerful stories behind the murals and give an insight into the Salt River. This area is considered a hidden gem and is famous for its creative scene in the heart of Cape Town.You will meet the locals in the area and experience Cape Town’s subcultures, learn about the artists, their message and different techniques used. Walking you through individual pieces as well as giving you an overview of these colourful pieces to experience first-hand just how street art is changing the perspective in these local communities.

KHAYELITSHA BIKE RIDE
Join us for a ride through our vibrant community of Khayelitsha. You`ll be immersed in the lifestyle, history and heritage of this fast growing township. Our amazing local guides Ayanda and Buntu will pick you up from your accommodation in a local mini taxi, a once in a lifetime experience and the most common mode of transport for many South Africans. They will introduce you to “The Spinach King” and you will get a chance to visit his famous Cafe. There will be an opportunity to engage with other local entrepreneurs and visit some entrepreneurial hot spots. Our guides will share with you their vision of Khayelitsha’s potential from young entrepreneurs’ point of view as well as give you taste of some of the local cuisine and possibly teach you a local language. After spending the morning with Ayanda and Buntu you will be inspired to be a better human.

KELP SHACK MAGIC
This experience will take you on an unexpected environmental and culinary journey. The Cape kelp forests have recently been announced as one of the seven natural wonders of the world. It is the only forest of giant bamboo kelp on our planet, harbouring other-worldly creatures, startling abundance, and rich biodiversity. This enormous habitat fringes the shores of Cape Town and stretches north for more than 1000km into Namibia. You will be hosted by an epic team of experts who are motivated in environmental conservation and education. They will take you on a magical coastal walk, where you will learn about the indigenous flora and fauna, past and present history, as well as learn how to cook with kelp. It’s all about connecting us as humans to nature and promoting sustainable food sourcing.

SNORKELING WITH SEALS
Seal Snorkeling with Animal Ocean in Hout Bay is a must-do whilst visiting Cape Town – a snorkeling experience like no other! Immerse yourself in the underwater world of the local Cape fur seal population at Duiker Island – only a short 15 minute boat ride from the Hout Bay Harbour. No snorkeling experience necessary, as long as you can swim you can join us! Animal Ocean has been operating since 2009 and are ready to welcome you at their comfortable Snorkel Centre for the best all-round experience. After the snorkeling we take a short walk to the world-famous Mariner’s Wharf, Africa and the Southern Hemisphere’s first harbour front emporium. Here we will eat fish and chips like the locals do.
