A memorable two-day tour of Lake Ohrid, North Macedonia, and Southeast Albania, offering a combination of history, culture, adventure, and culinary delight. The tour starts in Tirana and takes participants on a journey to explore Lake Ohrid and Struga in North Macedonia, Pogradec and Korca in Southeast Albania, as well as the 18th-century center of the Aromanians in Voskopoje. With a friendly and enthusiastic approach, the host is dedicated to showcasing the beauty and diversity of Albania to visitors from around the world. 7:00 am Departure behind the Opera House. 10:00 am Arrival in Struga North Macedonia – Touring, visiting, and exploring the city. 12:00 pm Departure for Ohrid North Macedonia  – Visiting the harbor, the bazaar, and Saint Johns Church. 2:30 pm Departure for Sv. Naum North Macedonia – Visiting the village, and the monastery, and enjoying lunch. Arrival in Pogradec Albania at 5:30 pm – Checking in to the Hotel, enjoying some free time to unwind, then sightseeing through Pogradec, and then dinner. 8:00 am Breakfast at the Hotel. 9:00 am Departure for Korca – Visiting the bazaar, the Metropolitan Church of Korca, and the Museum of Medieval Arts. 2:30 pm Visit Voskopoje and enjoy lunch after touring the village. 5:00 pm Departure for Tirana with a break on the way. 9:00  pm Arrival in Tirana.  -Comfortable Transportation -Entrance tickets to all museums -Accommodation: 1 night in a hotel shared room with single beds or private double bed -A knowledgeable tour guide -Transportation to and from your meeting point in Tirana. -Alcoholic beverages and personal expenses such as souvenirs. -Meals: Meals and drinks not mentioned in the itinerary are not included in the package. -Tips for the guide and any other staff members (although tips are appreciated if the service is exceptional). -Any activities not included in the itinerary or any optional activities that travelers may choose to participate in at their own expense. -Anything else that is not explicitly mentioned in the “inclusions” section of the trip. Difficulty level: Easy, with some walking involved. Special Clothing Required: Comfortable walking/running shoes and a windbreaker or pullover are recommended. Special Dietary Restrictions: Includes traditional Albanian and North Macedonian food, if you have dietary restrictions or food allergies, please inform the city team. Extra Cash: It is recommended to bring extra cash for personal expenses and optional activities. Ground Transportation: Ground transportation is provided throughout the experience. Additional Information:  Multiday adventure travel is inherently prone to complications and alterations. In such cases, the vendor will make reasonable efforts to provide comparable substitutions wherever possible.  Passports are required as we will be entering North Macedonia for a portion of the trip. All cancellations, by customer or Remote Year will be given in Marketplace credit within 3 days of the cancellationWhen a customer cancels, credit value will be subject to any associated cancellation fees.Credit can be used toward anything on the Marketplace or toward future program fees. What happens if my booking is changed/cancelled due to weather?

Let’s be real – no one can control the weather, and sometimes things just don’t go as planned. But don’t worry, your City Manager is here to help and will do their best to come up with a solution if an event is affected. We understand that everyone’s schedule is different, so while we can’t guarantee a make-up option will work for everyone, we promise to try our hardest. If you’re unable to attend the make-up date, no problem – we’ll give you a full refund for your booking.

I have a discount or gift code, can I use it to complete my purchase?

Yes, once you add your item to your cart and check out, you will be able to input the code before completing the purchase. If you need help finding your code, please double check your inbox. You received an email from Marketplace with the code.

Can I book for a friend / family member?

Sure! We welcome your friends and family coming to visit you while you travel the world. We do, however, reserve the right to deny access to Friends / Family who are over using RY Services. 

I haven’t received a booking confirmation email, can you help?

Please reach out to us at [email protected] and we’ll help. In some cases, you may have multiple emails associated on the Marketplace and this is causing some confusion. Reach out and we’ll do our best to sort it out! 

If I cannot attend, can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

Yes, you may transfer your booking to another Nation Member or Family/Friend. Please notify the City Manager as soon as possible to confirm the change. Please note, in the case of special dietary requirements, we might not be able to accommodate special requests on last minute changes. Any bookings that require advanced ticketing linked to an individual’s ID might not be approved. 

Will I be able to work on this experience? 

If you have to check in with work at any point during the scheduled time, we recommend confirming with the City Manager before booking.

I’m a Nation Member but not on an active program, can I still book? 

We will always prioritize Remotes who are traveling with an active program on experiences. You may be able to book but there is a chance the City Manager will reach out to let you know we have to release your spot for an active Remote. If you’re in a city but not traveling with a program, we recommend reaching out to the City Manager on the Hub to confirm before booking.
