Derecho – 1 month – Work & Travel

On our 1-month Derecho program, you will experience life like a local in Medellin with a community of remote professionals eager to understand the world, step out of their comfort zone, and embark on one of the most memorable months of their life.

We have taken inspiration for our program name from pie derecho, the tradition of starting the new year off on the right foot for good luck. Engage in this tradition yourself as your ring in 2022 surrounded by natural beauty, majestic mountains, and abundant culture in Medellin.

On our Derecho program, you will have the opportunity to experience Medellin during Christmas, as the city comes to life with festive light displays and a spectacular fireworks show you won’t soon forget! Say hello to 2022 during a special New Year celebration, where you can participate in the tradition of eating twelve grapes (and making 12 wishes!) as the clock strikes midnight on the 31st.
