Fun and Interesting!

Spending a month in Tirana, Albania was a wonderful experience. The RY staff was terrific. They chose nice apartments for us, we had a great workspace and the day and weekend trips were fun and interesting. Would definitely go on another Remote Year trip.

Albania is Beautiful!

As a solo traveler I rarely met people, let alone made friends. But with RY, the people who are attracted to it are in the same situation and they’re thirsty to engage and interact. The activities of course were great but the real meat and potatoes for me was the friendship.

Like Minded Friends

I’ve traveled with RY twice now and both were great. I now work remotely and wanted to travel longer while working. The concept of RY is perfect because I can pick dates and locations that work for me and know that I’ll have friends there when I arrive who are like minded.

Something for Everyone

Remote Year’s magic lies in its ability to simplify travel. Precise planning and thoughtful curation let me immerse myself, free from logistical stress. Whether you’re a thrill seeker, nature lover, history buff, foodie, or adventurer, they cater to all.

Most Growth You’ll Experience

RY = 10 years of adventure and personal growth. What I learned has fundamentally reshaped my world view. By highlighting my own and other diverse perspectives, I hope more people see themselves as capable of international travel.

No Typical 9-5 Here

RY took my entire life and turned it upside-down in the best way. There’s no such thing as a “typical 9-to-5” here. Every day, I learned more about the world and people. If I could rewind and relive it again, I’d do it in a heartbeat.
