Remote Year brings together 50-80 inspiring professionals, freelancers, entrepreneurs, and adventurers to see the world as they never have before during an unforgettable year of personal and professional growth.
Participants (called “Remotes”) live and work in a different city around the globe each month. To become a Remote, request an invitation to apply here. If you qualify, we’ll walk you through the next steps.

Request an application invitation here. If you qualify, fill in your application. Once completed, our Admissions Consultants will review your application and if accepted, invite you to a video interview to help us make a final decision.
If you don’t already work remotely, we can help. About half of all jobs are remote compatible, and our Employer Approval Process has helped 79% of applicants make remote arrangements with their employers- from startups to Fortune 500s.
Congratulations, you’re accepted! We have groups starting out monthly, and our Admissions Consultants will help figure out which ones work for both your schedule and work arrangement.
Price includes all travel between destinations, all accommodations, all workspaces and wifi, all tracks and community activities, any help making remote arrangements with employers, etc.
Downpayment: $5,000 USD
Monthly (for the first 11 months): $2,000 USD
Remote Year is not a job provider- all participants will need their own remote jobs once the program begins. However, you do not need to have a remote job to apply.
Remote Year provides guidance and resources to help get your employer on board with a remote work arrangement. We’ve seen success with Fortune 500 and startup companies and with traditional and non-traditional remote roles. We’ll help you get creative with transitioning into a remote position.
