I’ve emerged from this program with life lessons on being less judgemental and more comfortable with myself, appreciation for a culture completely different from my own, and gratitude for the things in my life that led me here.

“The first two weeks in CDMX have been absolutely filled to the brim with events, exploring and so little sleep! Pictures don’t do justice to this amazing, vibrant city or all the fun times! Highlights include: beautiful morning runs, a visit to Frida Kahlo’s house (!!), a drag show, a full-body Lucha Libre experience, a night at the Ballet Folklórico, a hazy Saturday on the boats in Xochimilco, flower crowns, a BIG snake, pole dancing lessons, and all the tacos and elote of my dreams!”

Coming from India, Mexico is not somewhere I’d explore soon if it wasn’t for RY. I fell in love with the city, the food, the weather and the people. Best city leaders I’ve had at RY who crafted the best experiences, were always available and just became great friends.

This was my first time working remote. The whole experience cultivated a tight-knit community. I have made lifelong friends and indispensable business connections. As a native, Giral really made us all feel at home and was the ultimate tour guide and instant best friend.

CDMX is just amazing. The RY apartments are mind blowing. Each 3 bedroom could fit 30 ppl (we did that a few times.) RY never ceases to amaze me in how well they choose their city guides. Giral was our city leader and did everything to give us an unforgettable experience.

Such an amazing experience! It’s a great opportunity to explore a city at your own pace with a fantastic group of like minded curious individuals. I’ll definitely do another one with remote year!
