I love all the nooks and crannies and intricacies of each different neighborhood. Every street has a different colorful building with gorgeous flowers and vibrancy. I also liked to open the door to my balcony in Bairro Alto and watch the neighborhood wake up each morning while I drank my coffee.
I loved waking up and going for a morning jog in the Jardim de Estrela. Sometimes I would grab a delicious traditional Pao de Deus from the padaria and walk to the workspace. The Sao Bento and Chiado neighborhoods are full of small local cafes with outdoor seating and parks where I could work from.
Lisbon itself is one of the most vibrant cities I’ve ever visited. It’s very convenient to several beaches, the population is very diverse, tons of different neighborhoods and the nightlife was so fun. There is truly something for everyone here.
My first time working from another country and everything was perfect. The accommodation was carefully picked, apartments were in great condition and in a lovely neighborhood and close to the workspace. Our group was diverse and I met wonderful people and learned new cultures.
My 6th RY month with all around immaculate vibes. Lisbon is such an easy city to love – the weather was great, my apartment was gorgeous, the people were warm, and those pasteis de natas? Oh boy. 10/10 highly recommend!
