Patagonia: The Last Piece of Land – RY Marketplace
Have you ever tasted fresh glacier water on a hike to one of the most jaw dropping views in the southern hemisphere? No? Well… then you should probably do this trip…
This experience is extremely well organized and the perfect balance of adventure & down time to eat, drink, and relax. Would definitely recommend that you opt in for horseback riding. It was my first time ever riding a horse and I felt perfectly safe/ well cared for. Also, if you like to get active, definitely go for the trekking option for an added boost of adventure.
Puerto Natales is a lovely town with gorgeous sunsets, the friendliest dogs, and delicious food (seriously the best lamb I’ve ever tasted!) Also, the accommodations are super nice. My group raved about how comfortable the beds were. We slept like babies every night!
Make sure to pack for cold weather. Although, if you’re coming straight from another Lat Am country with a warmer climate, don’t worry. There’s plenty of shops for you to buy some extra cold weather gear.
Honestly, my biggest complaint about this experience is that I have too many EPIC photos, which is making it really difficult for me to figure out what to post on Instagram. Truly a once in a lifetime experience that you don’t want to miss!
