INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS

You are responsible for your flights.Albania has only 1 international airport: Tirana International Airport (TIA) and has great connectivity with Italy, Germany, and Turkey.Arrival time on Day 1 (JULY 28TH) we recommended you land before 7pm local time to be able to join us for our introductory dinner.

WEATHER DEPENDENT

Wondering if Mother Nature might rain on our parade? We unfortunately can’t control the weather. There may be a shower or two. The itinerary may need to be adjusted due to weather, but you will be given warning of any changes made.

INTERNET AVAILABILITY AND WORKING

There is wifi available at the guesthouses. However, due to the length of activity days, this trip may not be conducive for you to work.

Difficult to extremely difficult – This adventure is curated and designed for individuals who are physically fit and enjoy hiking and the outdoors.

SPECIAL CLOTHING REQUIRED
Cool clothing, easy-drying clothing, hiking shoes, swimsuits, sun hats, sunglasses, activewear, sunscreen, travel towels, and a hydration pack. For more details, please see below in the FAQ’s for “what I should Pack”

SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS No – We will try our best to accommodate most dietary needs if given enough notice.

FOOD & DRINK

Tap water in Tirana is unsafe. You should drink only bottled water and avoid ice in drinks.Tap water in the Albanian Alps is safe to drink as it is natural spring water straight from the surrounding mountains.

EXTRA CASH
Needed for tipping or extra spending. Tipping is not mandatory. If you liked the service, you’re encouraged to tip! If you did not, it is okay not to tip. 10% is typical. ATMs are available in Tirana. As some meals are not included, nor is the final drive to the airport, we recommend having $100 in total available for meals along the trip and airport transfer on the final day.

ACCOMMODATIONWe’ll be staying in 3-star hotels within Tirana and at traditional local guesthouses in the Valbone Valley and Theth Valley. Room types available are Shared rooms with Twin Beds and shared bathrooms or Private Rooms with Doubles and private ensuite at an additional cost.

TRANSPORTATION

Flights are not included. All the ground and water transport to our planned activities are included in your trip. That’s right! No hassle, no stress, just sit back and enjoy the ride to all the itinerary’s hotspots.
