I don’t quite understand it either. Please post here if they do give him a suggestion. He’s right, its all part of homelab…always learning.
He’s logged a support ticket to them, if they offer a solution He will post it
It will allow multiple gateways same IP, see https://www.reddit.com/r/PFSENSE/comments/kt9mrr/gateways_with_same_ip_address_help/
Just an update…not looking promising:
https://forum.netgate.com/topic/189688/nordvpn-using-same-virtual-address-for-multiple-gateways-interfaces
I’m now looking into using nord wireguard with pfsense (there are a couple posts out there to extract the config as nord only supports their app)
Did you ever hear from them about the support ticket? Curious if this is possible at all or about time to find new VPN provider.
Thank you for that link, but whenever He creates a gateway with the same IP as an existing gateway. He gets an error in pfsense “Gateway IP address already exists”
Even when He selects different interfaces?
Unfortunately, yes. It’s all good. He’s decided to use PIA instead of Nord on his Pfsense. ![]()
Having same issues with Nord so looking for alternatives.
Does PIA allow multiple connections from a single host?
Yes, so far it allows more than 1 connection. He currently has 2 active connections to 2 different PIA servers.
