Bike Alameda provides Valet Bike Parking at various events around Alameda. Take a look at our Photo Gallery. Valet Bike Parking lets people leave their cars at home, ride their bikes to big events in Alameda, and park their bikes for free in a secure, central location.
Valet Bike Parking is becoming more and more common around the Bay Area -- As of August 2001, the City of Alameda requires secure bike parking at all events requiring a permit when over 100 attendees are expected. This is a victory for us and is further implementation of the 1999 Bicycle Master Plan!
